Default Turbo question

Would it matter if I bought a divided t3 housing turbo and use it on my non divided full race t3 manifold? I found a turbo that's 500 cheaper just that it's divided housing

Think of it like water flowing through a pipe, but putting a large divider in the middle. It causes a fair amount of restriction and disruption to the flow causing loss of energy and increased heat and stress. It can work, but its far from optimal.

This

My dad's inline stage 2 kit actually came with a divided housing s366 with an undivided manifold and it performs well. I thought the same thing at first and asked around about it as well.
