plan on 6-7k just for the kit and supporting parts clutch/exhaust/fuel pump/oil relocation kit/ heat wrap, lines and fittings, etc. Then plan on spending at least another 2000 or more for install and a good tune. It not cheap but do it right and it will be rewarding. Do you have acess to a tuner ? Who will be installing the kit? What resources do you have at you disposal to help you with the build? Keep in mind turbo charging is not a small project and needs to be gone about methodically otherwise you will be spending a lot more money than you had planned. If you want boost there are other options that may work like supercharging. There are some great kits out there that will make good numbers reliable power right out of the box and come with a tuned ecu or piggyback system. A whole set up can be had for what your budget is. Checkout the Kraftwerks SC, Science of Speed, and Vortech. A used kit is an option as well but its tuff to tell if it has been well maintained so be careful. Good luck. and happy boosting

if you have a couple of months you have plenty of time to search through the 10000000 post that ask the same question. Theres probably 5 of them within the first 2 pages. If you can't afford to have your motor built, you probably won't be able to afford a "complete" turbo setup. A turbo setup is going to cost more then a built motor.

Sheeesh you guys are harsh. Some people come here for the community of it, not just to hunt down old info.

For your budget the Inline Pro kits sounds the go. The Greddy is cheaper but a tad limited. You'll need the basic kit, an AEM EMS and some supporting mods like the injectors and an exhaust. Then you have to budget for some tuning. Might come in around $7K.

wanting something and having the money for something are 2 completely different things. when you have atleast 5k minimum in the bank, come back and ask the same question that has been asked at least 2 times a week.

i say 5k cuz you can get a used greddy for like 2500... then you need a clutch and injectors. and the tune and install will cost the rest if not more.
i got 7k to put in the car right now and i already to aem ems water pump injectors and clutch

I prefer Central Florida Turbo. They have a kit for the S2000 that is reliable and decent priced. Call them and ask for Fernando. Tell him Gabe referred you.

They are building mine completely custom.

Good luck!

It's really easy to as ummm, as it is easy to search for some information. Theres so much of it that it shouldn't have to be repeated every second because someones too lazy to look.
