Turbo exhaust flow and performance
Hi
Need some help deciding on upgrading exhaust on my turbo S.(430-450whp)
Currently own a Greddy spectrum elite dual, which is 70mm piping to 63mm dual piping and mufflers. Love the looks of this exhaust, but I feel its time to upgrade to a better diameter suited more for turbo.
I looked at current offerings but all are single styles which I dont like much (hks, greddy, berk etc.) And at the moment im not considering have a custom 3inch dual made.
So the question would be if a dual full 70mm would flow better and/or net better/same numbers than a 3" single.
Thanks!

If you take the center bore size of 3" from say downpipe to the Y section of the exhaust (where it splits into dual), then for the dual pi R squared dictates to get same flow from the duals you need 2.5" which actually puts it over 3".
Personally i'd go with custom 76mm bore to two 63.5mm, add a small centre backbox and two backboxes.
Hardly any drone with the power to get good power.

My custom 3", custom is the only way to go.
