Default Turbo build suggestions please

I have a 2000 ap1 s2k, I've had it for almost a year now and have decided to go with FI. I have a precision 60-1 and I'm shooting for a solid 380-400whp. I am wanting to run a EMU and was wanting to know if anyone else was seeing numbers near this since it has a 800cc injector limit. All comments are appreciated. Thanks

I generally always recommend a full EMS regardless of whp.

Why do you say that? Is there a huge problem with EMU?

There is no problem at all with EMU, an EMS for FI applications or any applications rather is the best idea. The EMU only has so much tuning ability, whereas an EMS the possibilities are endless and your looking at massive gains and data-logging over the Greddy system. 400whp is a solid goal but not to be reached with an EMU.

Guess you haven't seen the Ptuning TC that layed down 500+ with the EMU?

Tc and the s2000 are very different ems is the way to go, high compression is more difficult to tune ther for you need and ems or kpro. Trust this fact there's no way around it, I would even try to put my car at risk with emu

I don't think the issue is the hardware, rather the skills of the tuner. Alloy Craft is running an EMU in a DD at 16psi. It's a capable system is what I'm trying to say...

Can it be done w/an EMU, of course. Most would recommend against it however.

My very first junkyard setup on my 99 Si was with a VAFC. You learn as you go I guess, and what I have learned is that a full on EMS > EMU any day of the week.

Your tuning solution (including tuner) should be @ the top of your list, and not something you start price cutting on before you even get started.

Then, and only then should you consider the rest of your project.
