Turbo blanket for Greddy turbo kit.

Turbo blanket for Greddy turbo kit.
I'm kinda worried about tracking my car now. I've put in a Mishimoto radiator and it seemed to help a little with under hood temps... but it still is a bit hot under there.
I want to buy a vented hood or just cut up my stock one (too scared to now). Will that help?
Does anyone know if they even make a blanket that will fit the tiny 18g / T518z? Would it even work?
I like to track my car and I go almost twice a month (only missed a few), may begin to go three times a month soon and I don't want stuff over heating.
Any suggestions?

I'm not looking/asking for any power...
All I asked was about temps. The turbo is only oil cooled, so I'm wondering if it will help or hurt. I want under hood temps down, but I don't want to bake my turbo.

Well, to be honest... I just got the kit for a right now kinda thing.
I'm going bigger when I get back from another deployment. But my low boost will only be 350hp at most.
I love tracking this car. It's a blast.

you won't make 350 with the greddy. No one has... well.. thats unless you get it dyno'd on dynapack.
but yea... for heat purposes it would help. but also if u get it, you will have to let the car idle a little longer after you drive it. you know, to cool it down so no oil burns inside the turbo

That's twice you have read my post wrong/ read something wrong into my post. If you read my post above your's, you'll see that I said I will "go bigger."
That means a bigger turbo kit. I don't even know how you got that I thought I could make 350hp on a greddy kit. I said low boost making 350hp insinuating that I will be getting a bigger kit. The greddy kit at full/highest boost only makes about 300hp which is what I'm at. I know enough about this car and this kit, so please don't think I am your average noob to the s2k. I do all the work to it myself.
Thanks for your input though.

for the purpose of the greddy kit.. no.. it wont help much with heat.. venting the hood will help a little, but it would be better to put spacers on the hood so the back of it sucks the hot air out.. but your under the hood temps are normal for FI.. just make sure u give it some cool down town before you make another pass at the track
