I am giving this thread a free complimentary bump. Why? Because it is the best rotrex setup on the planet that's why!

ohh, and because people need to know that if they want to ditch their Kraftwerks c38 kit, another kit is available to purchase!

I completely agree! The TTS kit was well worth the extra coin over Kraftwerks - especially back then when KWs kit and customer service was shit. My only complaint is how the piping lines up with blower since kit was designed LHD.

5 years, 20k miles, tons of highway pulls, a few track days - and it still runs like a beast in 90 degree Texas weather. Last winter I added Flex Fuel with my Hondata - this map is on e98.

Nice to see the 2014 group buy is still rolling the same setup.

sorry if already mentioned but is there a way to combine the TTS set up with an existing KW kit install? C38-92 30mm belt.

Not very easily...its a completely different drive system. It sure would be nice if TTS made the C38R work with the their kit though!

SC Concepts makes some really nice parts. I've asked him to consider making S2000 parts. He may do a battery tie down like the one he did for my FK8.

Here are the Titanium nuts he has... https://scconcepts.bigcartel.com/pro...nda-mitsubishi

I have just got the tts plate and the C38-92 and i have gone for a precision intercooler, i would like to ask what is the theory behind your Intercooler piping sizes? 2.75 inch hot side - 3 inch cold side.

Hello, I'm assuming you are referring to the FB post here as well? https://m.facebook.com/groups/165828...composer=false

I worked extensively with Tim at King Motorsports Unlimited in Wisconsin on this part of the project. In looking at this TTS system in its entirety we were quite confident in the fact that if we were to remove much of the convoluted routing and very tight bend radiuses of their supplied piping, it would be likely that more power could be had. We had similar concerns about piping diameters etc and the theory behind it. However, in much of King Motorsports Unlimited's experience, they have experienced gains from what we did here several times in the past and therfore I chose to go ahead and try the suggestion. As perhaps you've read, it was a successful trial. If you read most of this thread you can see EXACTLY what we did and what the results were. What the flow rates in the FB post don't account for is bend raduses and how this slows down the velocity going through the bends. Basically the larger piping allows for the most flow and higher velocities through the bends. We straightened out all of the bends as much as possible AND effectively SHORTENED the entire flow path from what it originally was. We tried to fit 3" on the hot side and could not get it to fit properly which is why we used 2.75". We probably could have used 2.75" to leave the blower until it got down to the frame rails and then switched it to 3" diameter from that point entering the intercooler but we decided not to at the time. What we did do worked. Compared to the original system not only did we pick up considerably more power and torque, but also made the throttle response better as well. Unfortunately the throttle response cannot be seen on a dyno. What we DON'T know is that IF we used the exact same pipe routing and tried other variables in piping sizes would the results be any different? Could we have tried a better end tank design on the intercooler to support a better and smoother transition from the piping to end tank and from end tank back to piping? Perhaps. However, I wasn't looking to spend every waking moment testing every possible scenario, My original goal was to ultimately make it look much better and perhaps gain something in the process. Again, we were successful in what we choose to do. I hope this helps.

Could we have designed an air to water setup? Sure, but frankly I chose not to for maintenance reasons.

For anyone looking to quiet down the BOV air noise, this addition has quite a big noise reduction...surprisingly! Just a simple 1.5" diameter 90 deg silicone hose coupler. I've known about this for a while but never tried it til yesterday. Highly recommended! Thanks for the idea RAINH8R!

Added the Modifry phone mount along with a WizGear magnetic mount.

WizGear mount...
Amazon Amazon

Modifry mount... https://modifry.com/index.php?route=..._id=228&page=3

Added a bit of adhesive backed ensolite foam and tesa tape for anti-vibration purposes and one zip tie for additional support.

With the stock shifter assembly and a Moddiction Anvil 2 shift knob there is no interference with the phone while shifting. My current phone is a Motorola Z2 Force (in the pic). Note that the magnetic plate on the back of the phone is centered on the back of the case that it is in.
