My kit is still running great after 1 yr. This will I'm hoping to get some wider tires in the rear and head back to the track for more 1/4mi slips. Let me know if you guys got any questions regarding the kit.

The kit now comes with a 6262, so it will put up even better numbers than what I have with the GT30R.

With all the bad rap and issues going on with Mase, this looks like a better option!

Any issues with your manifold? Since it looks like it supports the turbo?

Everything is holding up well so far. But like most people who are worried about ELT type manifolds cracking (myself included), I've been taking my car to get everything checked out about once a month, and so far so good, no issue with the manifold. I will continue to keep an eye on everything, especially this summer, going to have some more fun at the strip.

That is my biggest concern as well. It looks like a well built kit. My car is going into storage for the next 6 months as i find a new place. So i was going to buy it some goodies while it was in there. Trying to get back into the FI game. BTW previous Inline Pro and Kraftwerks owner.

Who should i talk to over at Forged?

Recirculated dump as option?

No relocation of heater/ac/battery/fuse?

In for dynojet #'s w/ stock Ap1 as well...

How's the spool characteristics for the 6262 on this kit versus the 3076R? Personally got my mind set on this kit in early 2012, but I've heard and seen many bad things from Precision turbos on a multitude of platforms. I've also seen several dyno charts that tell me the 6262 has a poor powerband for the F22 (VERY peaky) compared to the broad numbers the 3076R puts out. I'm not so concerned with peak power. I'll take a 450whp car with a fat powerband over a peaky 500whp.

Any price changes due to this turbo and is it the BB version? Also, their website shows a GT30R in the pricelist, not a 6262.

I am also curious about the recirculated dumppipe.

a gt3076r is closer to a 5857 turbo. 6262 is more like a gt35r. 450whp with broad power you should get a gt3076r or 5857. A ball bearing turbo will spool quite a bit faster and also have better transient response when your on and off the throttle.

i have a 5857bb turbo and its great, fast spool, almost no lag while driving and makes great power and i'm barely even working it at 13psi
