Trackforged Turbo Kit!
#31
I'd like to do that sometime Eric.
I'm currently on my 4th tank of gas. The kit is running very solid. I've been boosting every chance I get, and taking the long way home through the mountain instead of taking the highway. Still no signs of any vibration from the prototype manifold, so I think the production design that comes with additional manifold brace will be a solid win.
Gas mileage: Now I know most of the FI guys don't care about this stat, I don't really either. But I still like to know what it is, so when I take long road trips with our local S2Ki group drives, I can plan a head of time to know when I should gas up.
On my last tank, I was able to get about 230 miles with 2 bars left on the gauge and the gas light was "not" on yet. So that's just over 21 MPG with mixed highway, street, and country back road driving. Not too bad IMO.
When I had CTSC on 11psi, I got between 250-280. So for the additional HP and way more torque, the drop in MPG was well worth it.
So far I am very happy with my prototype kit. I'm actually quite jealous at the people who will be buying their production kits because from the improvement they made over my prototype, the kit should be even more bulletproof, and fit even better than what I have.

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this but, do you have a link to downloadable instructions in PDF format or something? I like to see that before I think of it as an option. Not that it looks like there is much going on with this kit, it looks extremely well laid out and easy to bolt on.

For once I'm not irked by the necro posting... this kit looks pretty nice, anyone been running this since it's inception? Curious of buyer experience. The kit is at $4900 now... looks like you just need EMS and injectors/pump, maybe a clutch. Anything else I'm missing? Still relatively new to this...
I've been in the market and this kit really intrigues me, especially given the issues people have had with getting Mase kits lately.

forged performance is a great shop. that shop has good people working in it. we rent their dyno to tune our cars and ive watched them fabricate. nice materials, nice quality, nice welds.
