TiAL 50mm BOV on vortech aftercooler
is it possible to put a TiAL 50mm BOV on a Vortech Aftercooler with a greddy adapter flange? i found a thread stating that it might be an issue with fitment.
here is the greddy flange: http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=BOV
also, which spring is recommended for use? on the manufacturer's site, it says -2psi for supercharged. i am pushing 13/14psi at 9k.
thanks in advance!

If the adapter is too big you may need to have a flange welded on to the after cooler. It would help to enlarge the opening too.
I was able to squeeze a Mondo BOV in place of the original but it was tight.

Plenty of clearance over here. The only caveat is that you put the bolts through the adapter first and then start tightening them by hand. I don't have any surge and I'm running ~24psi.

which spring are you using to support the 24psi? do you have any photos of your setup as of right now?

if anyone is trying to do the same by using a TiAL BOV on a vortech aftercooler, atpturbo.com sells their BOV with different flanges, including the greddy flange and different springs for different applications already installed. just got mine today. going to install it in a few

if anyone is curious on how loud the tial q bov is, i have updated the OP with audio/video.
IMO it sounds cool and all, but drowns everything you hear, even when your windows are up. it doesn't help that my hood is vented either.
