honestly, we are talking a few hp here and there. what ever u decide on, just get it tuned after you install it. i am supercharged 9psi with 3" dual exhaust asura, berk header, and now berk 70mm hfc. i made 332 on a dynodynamics that most say is 10-12% low from dynojet. i have no idea honestly. alls i know is car feels strong. on a really shitty hot humid night i was trapping 109, which i am not happy about. but part of the problem is i am shifting right near the end. 4th is good for 111 mph between my bigger tires and higher redline. i need to either really rev out 4th, put in deeper gears, get more HP , or short shift to 5th.
anywho, get what you like. all this concoction of x sized testpipe or cat, y sized single or dual, z sized dual = BLEH!
more flow is more overall HP. u dont see guys with high horsepower running small exhaust. stock exhaust flows rather well. this biggest thing in my book to consider when buying an exhaust, is how damned loud it will be after the fact and is it worth the 5% or so of hp.

I think JWA4378 hit it right. It's always a blancing act between peak flow and velocity of flow. Too little velocity and the exhaust runs into a wall of relatively still air at each exhaust stroke, too little flow and back pressure stops the cylinder from filling completely... Bigger is NOT always better. Or at least thats what some very smart people have told me for many years.

Thanks Trbokev! I'm looking forward to seeing your project complete!
I'll be sure to post back on this thread after the re-tune.
