T3/T4 kit for cheap!
Hello friends! I am need of your help ASAP. I found a kit for sale, time is running down on it. Here is the description.
T3/T4 Turbo .50 a/r compressor .63 a/r turbine .57 trim
Rev-hard turbo manifold
38mm Tial style wastegate with 6psi spring & dump tube
Frount mout intercooler 18"x6.25"x3.5" core size 27" total length 2.5" inlet/outlet (fits perfect under the stock bumper)
Blitz style blow off valve with weld-on flange
Oil filter relocation kit (moves oil filter so the turbo can fit, you will need to run oil lines for it, lines not included)
Oil line kit (includes oil feed and return lines and fittings)
Synapse missing link map sensor
Drag 12:1 FMU
Intercooler piping and Downpipe are not in the kit. My question is how good or how bad is this kit? I really wanted the lovefab kit but this kit is quite cheep and maybe a bit more in my price range. Could anyone tell me more info and your opinons on this kit.

I think you're getting exactly what you are paying for, a entry level turbo kit.
Most of the people that buy them usually blow up an engine, then upgrade to what they really wanted anyways.
Take what ever your budget is for the kit, and triple it for a more accurate cost of what it will take to make it reliable and mostly trouble free.

It's cheap, but then it only comes with a FMU. No EMS, no injectors, no fuel pump etc.
I would strongly advise you to cool your heels and save up for a full LoveFab. Put it this way, would you rather spend $6K on a turbo kit or $6K on an ebay turbo ($2K) and engine rebuild ($4K).
And that assumes the transaction goes smoothly.
