Hey buddy, you have to put the clutch on the input shaft then lift it all in together. You tighten the pressure plate bolts through the access hole once the tranny is bolted up. Also have to notch the v160 case for the starter. Call full blown and they will email you instructions.

guys am in the process of installing completted everything installed the tranny and the 8.8 diff with DSS axels and everything, but when i drive the car i hear a knocking sound dunno from where, please if anyone experince anything like that pleaes let me know.

other thing did anyone try to install a short sifter on the car , because as you can see the shifter is too long where it's hitting with the frame, but with a short shifter i think problem will be solved.

hope to hear from you guys

Your driveshaft is touching the nose mount for the differential, check that you installed enough washers. The stock shifter should fit perfectly with OEM tranny and engine mounts.

Its been a while since anyone has posted on this thread. Any new V160 users? Any additional thoughts and/or opinions on this setup? Anyone else install this and NOT experience all the loud noises?

Thanks.

if your to the point you need a v160 its because you already invested more than that in your engine and you waNT to use the power .
if your under 500Hp you dont need it, never dont ask for info just take care of what you got if your braking your s tranny under 500hp your just abusing it
