Maybe i'm wrong...I came from a sportscar road racing track mentality. Although, I have lotus 7 type car with honda s2000 engine, I can't figure why Honda s2000 owners using an awesome road track car (like s2000) for drag racing. This car can perform very well in any road racing track, why straight line? No need for Getrag & no need 500 - 600 hp. Just my 2 cents...

The fact is the car is great at both road and drag racing, especially with the triple combo of the V160 + Ford 8.8 + big power f20c. This combination also makes for a very reliable big power car street which is tough to find.

Your car is boring in a straight line which is why you like to turn. I can get that, and appreciate it.
But to each their own. I don't see why it's so hard to figure out. Just make 4-5 times the power you do now and you'll get it. Turning would be the last thing on your mind at that point

That's what you think huh? A light car like mine with Honda s2000 supercharged 350wrhp at the traffic light?
You think I can't go straight? http://imageshack.us/a/img13/5530/7engine007.jpg
Car weigh just a bit over 1000 pounds with the power of 350...... that equates to 776hp (per ton). You will not even see my plate #.

You asked, I explained the reasons why.
And yes, your car would bore me in a straight line. But looks like it'd be a fun car to drive regardless.
