Where are you seeing the T when you put the SH into test mode? When in test mode your dash should go up to about 7mph then stay their for a few seconds then go back down to about 1. That's what happends when I put mine into test mode. T should show up on the SH itself and when it does show,the speed on your cluster will go up like I said. If your cluster doesn't change speed your SH is not wired up correctly. Also which wire is hooked up to your AEM? I didn't have to wire my SH into my AEM

your SH is not wired up correctly. How do you currently have it wired up?

Here is a test of the SH. Set the SH into test mode and this will appear on your dash. If you see this you will know your SH is wired properly
