The drive shaft i have is for oem transmission .Back side will go into the 8.8 . I heard that i can modify the transmission side to match with the v160 , i am not sure if it is just an extended flange or not. The v160 transmission is not installed yet .If some one did this kind of mod the shaft will be ready , this is what i am trying to achieve .So need some help .

Ian if you send the Driveshaft to DSS they will modify it for you to fit the tranny and the diff.

I am running my v160 with the old inline pro r200 diff kit. I took a measurement from the flange of the V160 to the flange of the R200 diff and sent this along with my driveshaft to DSS. They modified it to the dimensions I needed and included an adapter flange from the V160 to their driveshaft end.

They should have all the measurements and flanges needed to go from the V160 to the Ford 8.8.

I will try locally first .We have a good engineer and he will figure out something .Extending a flange to adapt on the v160 side shouldn't be a problem for them . To send my D.S to DSS will take ages for me since i have to pay x2 shipping and labour cost ,i live in Europe it will take roughly about 1 month or more . Can somebody post a picture of the shaft where it meets the V160 ? .Thanks
