has anyone used the t5 made by gforce, has been testing it in my buddys rotary car so far is taking 11,200 rpm shifts at 700hp,this past week we tested on another car shy of 1,000 hp same shift points and 1.18 60ft,measures againts mine and it looks that i can still use the stock bellhousing with a spacer towars tranny, stock flywheel, pressure plate and modified clutch disc to accept the chevrolet spline, was quoted from $400 to $500 to modified the disc along with new pads and incresing the clamp presure on the presure disc, for the tranny you have to buy a used one since the internal will be removed, just found one for $150,so far adding the cost it come out cheaper than the v160,also you can select your ratios from gforce

that doesn't sound like your normal twin disc clutch chatter that's for sure. In the V160 the oem oil is ATF based so i dont know how that Motul 300 would make that tranny sound. I would have stuck with either the oem oil or the Royal Purple Syncromax. I run it in my Supra with about 800lb.ft for about 5k miles at a time with no problems and it shifts smoother than the stock fluid did.
