True, but from what I understood on how it works, it would work regardless of either the car is boosted or not....

They both do exactly the same thing. The only reason to run the Supra on the PCV line is that it is metal and stronger. The only time the system gets weird is when the breather line is valved.

sorry to bump an old thread but I just did this and noticing before I put the valve inline Air passed threw both ways, im guessing the valve is bad.

I was also wondering what the gobbler sound was lol

The supra valve blew both directions for me too but still provided much more resistance on the one side of course, so What i did was double it up in line with the stock valve. For what ever reason it seems several people have noticed this, is it a bad batch that we all coincidentally have gotten, or the more likely that this is how they were suppose to be?

hollowed out the stock pcv and put the supra pcv on, car seems to shut down smoother and start up a bit cleaner.

Can someone tell me where I can buy a supra turbo pcv valve?

I've been wanting to do this mod, but I don't have a pepboys anywhere near me and autozone doesnt even have this part in their computers

mine didn't leak any air on the direction the valve is supposed to be closed. I got two and set it up just like the crank vents with one going to the valve cover and the other to the intake, worked fine.

to me it's kinda dumb to add a leaky valve to replace a stock leaky valve, in the end you still have the same problem. if you get one and it's leaking in the direction it's not supposed to then order another one
