Default Supercharger vs. Turbo

Ok, this is not the on going whats better thread. This is a list of how much you guys have spent on either. I did search but found nothing so if you'd like to re-direct me please do...

Here's the question:

What have you guys spent so far TOTAL on everything from buying a turbo or supercharger including install, tune, the product itself, the internals you had to upgrade. And just the time spent on it in general
Any help would be great Thanks

In addition to the cost of the Comptech kit I had to buy some water wetter for the aftercooler, and I bought an extra belt. If you do the work yourself that's all you'll need, and so far I haven't actually needed the extra belt. I had help with the install, and spent about a week on the job, but if you don't work in short stretches like we did you can do the job in a day or two.

You get everything you need except the water wetter with the Comptech kit, though you'll have to rent or borrow the proper tool for removing the crankshaft pulley bolt.

Let's see...

Project Supercharger started 4/1/05
Total amount spent : $14,209
All parts sold, resale value kicked my butt.
Car broke on 9/14/05

Project Turbocharger started 1/15/06
Total amount spent : $13,000 ... still climbing
Car still not runnning.

Pricing doesn't include installation - most work done in garage.

Yup with the red s2000. After seeing that white s2000 in person pushing 475hp I think I might want to go turbo. Plus, I LOVE the sound of one spooling up. I'm not sure if turbo will be my route though because of my lack of knowledge(and funds ). I'm learning more and more but NO where near to the extent of some of these people. I think the supercharger may be more along my line because of the fact that it's a one time thing. People seem to have less problems. I just wanted to see where alot of you turbo and supercharged owners stand on this...

BTW, for all the people who said bad things about 2NRWerks... I wouldn't take my car anywhere else, even if I was out of state. And that's exactly where I'm getting either one of these installed. Grade A work everytime.
