Default supercharger: Tial Q bov venting on idle?

So recently i installed my tial Q bov on my sos supercharger. I have purchased the 2psi spring which is suppose to be for superchargers.

Novi 1220 w/3.0 pulley 12psi

*question is: is it suppose to vent heavily during idle? i read up on some forums/threads that its ok for it to vent but the Bov is opened all the way during idle? Is this commend or its suppose to be open about mid way? Should i get a heavier spring?

let me know whats up. Thanks in advance.

Are you annoyed by the noise yet?

I added the recirculater valve to the air pump port and it lowered the noise level due to more air release the only odd thing is the bosch valve makes a noise similar to compressor surge but removing it took the noise away car is also snappier down low i guess less parasitic drag

Parasitic drag has no correlation with the botch valve or any BOV for that matter. The Bosch valve might be damaged though? Allowing boost to escape when it should be closed, this could be why it feels snappier with out it installed. It shouldn’t flutter really if you have it pared with another valve. So it may be damaged. I ran the Bosch valve on my 3/4" injection port as a secondary to my turbo smart BOV. It evacuated perfectly, no flutter with a NV1200 at max psi.

Not having a good enough vacuum source run to both valves will cause them to not function properly as well. Don't expect to run a single vac line off the small port at the back of the intake manifold and tee it off to feed both the main BOV and the Bosch BPV on the air pump port. You won't have enough vacuum in that scenario to operate the valves properly.

I never had an issue with it. A 50mm Tial might take more vac then what my 25mm Turbo Smart did though.

I am running the same vacuum to both valves and it is snappier with them both installed down low the noise I here is when I shift at redline. so what I am describing is when the valves open when I chopped the throttle. didn't reread my post brain was shortcutting I have a turbonetics Godzilla bov and the bosch recirculator

I had this problem with my Tial QR and Bosch BPV. I ended up using one of the larger vac ports off the IM instead of the small one at the rear and it solved the issue.
