Default Stupid AEM EMS question...

Hey guys, I just have a quick question. If you unplug the AEM EMS will it still save your map that is currently saved to it or does it need to be plugged in to keep it stored (like a radio with presets)? Thanks.

A few weeks ago my postive battery terminal went loose and was off of the battery for a day or two. I found out when I went to start the car and it didn't start

Luckily my map was still saved and everything is still working fine on the EMS. Since then i asked around and was told that the map should not be lost if the EMS loses power.

Does a USB drive lose data when you unplug it?

^I never thought of it that way, but I figured that I would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks.
