Default Gas tank under high pressure. Gugle noise from the gas tank. Strong fuel smell.

One hour into the drive I smelled gas. Once in the city and in traffic gas smell got even worse, so I pulled over to make sure it wasn't my injectors, which thankfully it wasn't since my engine bay is Lava Hot.

I checked my gas cap and it was hissing which was weird, so I take it off and due to high pressure it hissed for solid 4 seconds and then just continued to make bubbling noise, and still is like 20min later.

I unplugged the battery and left the car disconnected. Also, I watched my AIT, coolant temps, AFR and no CEL. Car ran fine, just reeked of gas.

What the F....??? (Oh I'd like to add that the cap is only a year old.)

My friend went to the Honda dealer to grab a new gas cap for me. I'll report back later tonight.

EVAP canister may be full if the cap doesn't fix it.

Is your car boosted on a standalone ECU?

I never fixed it, as it never happened again with OEM ECU since however I am on a stand-alone now (AEM Infinity) and I get a solid whiff of fuel smell from time to time now. Annoying.
