Strange: AEM UEGO stopped communicating to my EMS
Guys,
Something odd happened recently. I used to be able to log my wideband just like you would anything else. However, now my wideband (AEM UEGO) stopped communicating to my AEM EMS. The wires are all still connected (pin C16 on the ecu) but the AFR's don't respond.
Has anyone had an issue with this? A little troubleshooting direction would be great. By the way, the O2 sensor is still good...my gauge is reading fine with nothing odd happening.
Thanks!
J

I assume it's the gauge style UEGO. The one where the controller is in the gauge?
I so, you need to put a multimeter on the line from the UEGO to the EMS and ensure that there is a 0-5V signal there.
If there is, you need to fire up the AEMPro software and check that it is set up for the correct gauge and see if there is a signal on the pin (C16). It could be a config error.
Failing that I guess it's time to send back your EMS.
