ok, to start how much timing did you pull out? what fuel were you running? also did you check the nozzles out of the manifold before you screwed them in, could be plugged on the fuel side? and yes platinums are no good with spray. are you single nozzle, or 4 nozzles (port)? what is your fuel setup? and how much fuel pressure are you running? yes those cylinders got hot, but will probably be ok. ive melted alot of stuff in my time, and after teardowns wasnt able to see any damage. but i always let off as soon as the car started bucking. plugs usually take the fall. if your real lean, rings are next. get back to me if you have any questions at all. lates dave

i was only running a 50 shot, on 93 octain. im running whatever stock fuel pressure is. i had checked the fuel port with the intake off and was working fine. this was my first time on a full bottle i ran it before on a low bottle with no problems. the car didnt even seem like it was bucking i saw the check engine light come on and let off. i just put new plugs in and ran a compression test. the 2 cylinders scored lower then the ones with good plugs. this was a one shark nossle setup wett

ok compression is fine and heres a pick of the new spark plugs they all look like this. Sort of a green tint to them. these are NGK r5672a-9 i think they are 2 step colder.

ok, so no timing is being pulled at all? make sure you run 100 octane then when you spray. just to be safe. and with your current setup, with what happened, you need some more fuel id say. run the next size up fuel jet or maybe go up 2 sizes then check the plugs. and always spray when your at 1000 psi bottle pressure. just stay consistent. if i were you , as expensive as our motors are, id go to a direct port setup, and toss the nozzle. very uneven distribution with a single. lots and lots of blown motors ive seen from a single nozzle. just be careful.
