Flexer, do you have any pics of your setup? I'm thinking about doing something like this so I can keep my HKS with the lovefab setup, but is the car deafening with running an open pipe?

Exclusive. I could take some pics for you if you like. But really just after the midpipe I just welded in a Y pipe from Summit. Infact I have a extra I will sell you for dirt cheap if you want. I am not going to use it. Then the actuator I got from a company called badlanzhpe.

To answer you question on how loud it is. That depends on how far open I open the y pipe. At all the way open it is loud, but not as loud as you would think. You have to remember that the turbo itself calms the sound down so it is nothing like running a NA S2k with open exhaust which I would guess would sound flat out annoying.

The nice thing is when you run straight pipe, you really do hear the crazy exhaust turbin sound from your exhaust. Soon as you let off the gas you hear turbin exhaust. Its very nice. If you have any more questions, just ask

J.R.- How much was the complete set-up? How long does it take to fully open up?

Flexer, thanks for the info. Will your y-pipe work with my exhaust though because my exhaust piping is 2.5" on my hks, I think the stock piping is smaller. Also, if you could snap a pic I would appreciate it , but you don't have too. I'm just trying to figure out exactly which exhaust cutout I would need because they sell a few different sizes with adapters. Thanks -Michael.

Bump, flexer what's the deal with that Y-pipe that you have? What size is it? I'm still interested. Thanks -Michael.

I might have a cut-out for sale. I'm supposed to be buying two brand new 2.5inchers.
