Hey guys,
I recently got a spec stage 2+ clutch installed on my car and i am having some issues with the engagement point. Mine engages at the very top of the clutch travel and i can't figer out where the problem is. The system was flushed a few times, it didn't make any difference. I also installed a new slave cylinder today because i saw some fluid leaking out from the bleed screw area, it didn't make any difference either. Is this normal for this clutch? Where is yours at?
please help!

Im running the same clutch and id say mine engages around the middle point. Have you tried adjusting the clutch?

The "catch" point of the clutch is adjustable, but I would have to say that mine is around the middle/end area. Also, having the clutch at the very end is also beneficial due to the capability for having quicker shifts because the pedal has to travel less.

Thanks for the replies guys. i tried to adjust it behind the pedal, The clutch travel can be made shorter, but the engagement point is still at very top. It just feels strange that the car starts moving when the clutch is almost the way out.

I have a SPEC Stage 2 also and my mechanic adjusted it so it releases more toward the middle of travel.
