Default Spark Plugs

I think its about that time to get some new spark plugs. Im adding a 50 shot of nitrous to my s2000 so I thought that would give me more reason to get some new ones.

Which spark plugs do you prefer?
Any experience with more than just the ones you prefer?
How much do they cost?
How long should they last?

From searching, I've seen NGK are pretty good, but couldn't find too much on anything else. I also want some that will last more than a few years. My father sells Bosch and other stuff wholesale so if those are good, then I'd go with those.

Thanks!

NGK 7173. They are one step colder and work great. They are coper so they will need to be replaced a bit more..

Thanks! I was thinking about them. Do they have the same thing, except in platinum or iridium or will I have to go with the copper?

use the oem platinum plug, they are designed for this motor, they last for 105k.

don't use anything else unless you are running FI or a high compression set up.

(He's going to nitrous)

People have used the BKR7E instead of the 7173. It's NGKs resistor plug that is good on an S2000 up to ~400whp

And use the search.

And don't blow your motor.

And be careful.

what's nitro?

ngk makes 29million different type of plugs, just use the OEM plugs for a relatively stock car

It has been proven the s2k likes a 1 step colder plug even in stock form.

100% agree, I got these too. Make sure u look at each spark plug too when u get them, to make sure they arent cracked. Can be hard to find and very small. I had a cracked spark plug once, and that caused misfires and compression leak I was told
