spark plugs
Ok, i have NGK 4554 plugs in the s2000 right now, and thats what i had in it when i got it tuned. They are 2 steps colder than stock. I wanted to switch and try out the NGK 3330, but was wondering if it would affect anything since they are only 1 step colder. Would I need a retune if i switch plugs, or would i be ok?
Thanks

There is. I found it once on some spark plug site. Maybe RCs.. Just google it. I think you COULD run a different spark plug without tuning. Just wouldn't be as efficient as the one it was tuned on. Just my noob opinion.

I have went with colder plugs on the same map but nevera step hotter. unless you are over 425whp it shouldn't affect anything. How much timing did your tuner pull?

I dont think he pulled anything and thats why my numbers were low i believe. He isnt the best tuner. I run really rich and only made 286 whp on 8 psi with inline pro setup. So i am going to go get a retune somewhere else, but want to get my 3mm headgasket on first. My plugs needed changing though and i have some 3330 laying around and was just wondering if they would be fine to use.
