Spark Plug ?s
Okay. I have an UR turbo kit and was curious why it doesnt require new plugs. I have limited understanding of how this stuff works, but it seems as though I would benefit from better plugs than stock. Why is this? What is a colder plug what is the gap and why does it matter? Lastly, are the NGKs and Denso IK24s the best choices. What kind of gains does one get with new plugs(HP, throttle response, etc)?
THanks

It's not that you really need better plugs than stock, just that you maight need ones better suited to your applictaion. The biggest factor being heat range and next to consider is that platinum plugs, like stock, are not the best for higher boost numbers. Iridium or plain copper are better ale to handle the stress of forced induction.
