Huh? lol People have been using jack stands for decades. If you get killed using 4 jack stands, you'll find a way for a lift to kill you too.

Thanks for the pics and thoughts, excited to see the outcome

Update: Oil pan is at King getting welded, the trans is getting a new seal, the drive shaft is getting new grease, and the inter cooler is mounted.

I need to trim the fins of the front bumper grille to clear the intercooler tomorrow. I figured some modifications would be needed for the inter cooler to fit the front plastic and bumper.

I couldn't get anything else done because I need a pilot bearing for the flywheel, which will come in tomorrow from my local Honda dealer. I also need to order a -10 an fitting adapter for the turbo to go with the bigger line, best case scenario that Ill have everything done is on the weekend.

And, sometimes bad things happen and people die. A couple of years ago we lost a member of this forum that way. Putting a wheel or something under is cheap insurance and good advice, IMO.

Paul's car was only supported by two jack stands when that accident happened. Regardless, the more safety precautions taken, the better.

Jack stands have served me well for many years. A few spare tires are not a bad idea to have under the car. But ive never felt that was necessary. Proper technic when using stands is what I live by.

Update, trans is back in, oil pan is back on the engine. I started trimming the front bumper and also installed the motor mount and turbo manifold and turbo. The larger oil return is giving me some trouble and I need to remove the manifold/turbo to correct it. I beleive my hose clamp on the oil drain is hitti g the motor mount heat sheild. Ill either change the line and clamp or go back down the the -8.
