Id be interested as well to compare it to my last tune from T1 before I parted out my turbo setup. You probably said, but was this with 91 or 93 octane?

He's on 93 octane, according to his 2nd post in the thread.

I prefer a conservative tune over agrressive one. If you cannot run more timing due to detonation, It is obviously a setup issue not a tuning issue. Keep in mind im on a 2.2l not a 2.0l. The amount of timing you rjn changes between the two engine. One sits at tdc longer than the other and as a result dictates the amount of time you can run.

Tuning the car on race gas will net more power, but it will still end up with a flat lined graph near redline

It's plenty for the street. Great response and fat power band. Have fun with it.

"Fat power band" did you look at the curve? 100% of torque is delveloped between 2 and 4,000 RPM. I believe S2000Junky correctly called it a light switch. His words not mine.

Ehh. Mine jumps 150+hp in 1000ish rpm and it's not a light switch. And if you don't like the power delivery you can lower the wastegate spring pressure and manipulate boost with an electronic boost controller.

Dustin, have you thought about taking a nice drive up to LJ at Fullblown and let gim have a crack at tuning the car? Just a thought.

In the end its your car and you have to please no one but yourself!

I prefer to stick with my tuner, I know Tim personally and trust his judgement. At this time I do not want to elaborate on my opinion yet as I have yet to put the kit through its paces.

Its pretty obvious that a lot of people don't understand what this turbo kit is all about is about track days and the power and torque show that. coming out of a corner its almost instant power which is what you want

Not everybody that buys this kit is going to track the car. Not sure in THIS car I would want instant torque coming out of a corner. Mine would not handle it unless I dropped boost way down for a track day. The bottom line is it looks like a nice kit that can make great power.
