Does the manifold limit it so low? I think those turbos could make a ton of power.

Does it feel like it struggles up top at all with the tapering torque?

Here we go. 10 vs 15psi. as you can see, the gtx3576 barely makes it to redline before it falls on its face when it is on only 10psi. But it could be from the psi climbing towards the end.

Got to love a twin scroll set up, really compounds the power curve a turbo can already provide. Probably feels like a light switch with power delivery at WOT from low rpm to when boost comes on. Not sure how that would be to control on a road course at the limit, or how smooth your partial throttle is under partial load/minimal boost in the mid range where the turbo is begging for gas pedal, but I’m sure you will get a good sense of that in time and can better compare the drivability and forgiveness between the two. Congrats and thanks for all the comparison info

Looking at that 10/15psi comparison. It makes me wonder if the setup is just more efficient at lower boost in the upper range by design, or if the tuner just feels more comfortable tuning the lower psi more aggressively up top where there is more detonation leeway because of the pump gas. It may be purely timing influence, I don’t know without seeing the tune. But the 10psi tune clearly has a broader power band for what ever reason.

Isn't the rule typically 15whp per +1 psi for boost? It is pretty weird that the peak power difference is 10whp being 5psi lower (well, 3psi bc it starts to creep up top)

Something seems to surely be holding the power back at higher boost levels.

That wouldn't really deter me from picking up the kit however, that crazy fast spool up looks awesome, and that midrange is ridiculous. I'm sure in time someone will figure out how to open up the top end to make big numbers anyways lol

wtf ? why this so weird 10 to 15 psi dyno graph ? maybe the turbo kit respond better on lowend ( track turbo kit ?? ) so if u need bigger power u better go with another turbo kit ?

Well the jump in psi did add both power and torque so that checks out. The only problem is that on the high boost setting, torque tapered off towards the top end which resulted in minimal gains over the low boost setup after 7k or 7.5k rmps

I think low boost creeped

Yea that too. The graph shows the low boost creeping to 12-13psi.

could the minimal difference be related solely to timing? Im no tuner by any means, but I always hear that its timing that makes power, not boost. So, if they are pulling "X" amount of additional timing to increase boost from 10 to 15psi, wouldnt that negate any gains? Could be that they are just tuning to what they are comfortable with?
