SOS TS Max Turbo Kit Build Thread
#201
Damn that's awesome! I make 100hp at 3500rpm you make 150hp at that rpm. I hit 200hp at 4500rpm and you do that before 4000rpm!! Not until 5500rpm does our power meet. I am on a regular 35r but still that is an impressive difference. I think I'm going to build a twin scroll setup very soon!!!

The dynos from SOS's original thread looked similar, in terms of the torque curve falling off up top. What exactly is the cause of that I'm not sure. Whether it's due to the manifold/IWG/mitsu housing/twin scroll/tune/all of the above is hard to say. Either way, I think it's largely irrelevant as this kit wasn't designed for a drag/dyno queen. That's an awesome looking torque curve and I know it'd be more than enough power for me on the track.

I have included these thoughts into my review. I am pretty much done with my review, but I need to drive the car still and get my hands on my tune for 10 vs 15 psi. The graph i posted is the best the kit (with the GTX3576) will do on pump gas. I have details on ignition timing, target afr, and other things. Ill be posting everything once I get everything I need to complete the review.
I also re uploaded the dyno plot. I did it on my phone and I noticed the quality was HORRIBLE.
here it is again

just looking at dyno, super fast spool. the last statement that this is maxed on pump gas makes me retract my previous statement of not automatically assuming its the setup. still awesome for a street setup. mine waits till over 5500rpm to hit 300wtq. congrats. i wonder what it can do with e85. more out of curiosity then anything else.
