SOS TS Max Turbo Kit Build Thread

The wastegate is as close as it can be to the engine. Excellent fitment overall. Following the directions it was very easy to lower the manifold and install it onto the studs.
I do not plan to have a blanket as the clearance is tight already. The factory upper heat sheild will do a good enough job I feel.

Its definitely a nice kit and very simple. Keeping it simple is the key to making an aftermarket forced induction kit work well. I would say its the nicest FI kit Ive seen for an S2000.

you are my SC inspiration and guru. Now that you have went turbo I am sure will hate it and miss the SC so much you will rip out the turbo after a week and just shit can it and buy another SC set up. I just had to say that as no one else did! But anyway I do wish you the best of luck with the build. After following you for so many years I know you do not bullshit much so I am interested in your honest comparison of the two systems. There are pros and con to each otherwise it would be a no brainer to install one or the other. I do not think SOS is turning it's back on SCs either, they are just offering more choices to the market place. When you do get put several hundred miles on the turbo and you can make a real meaningful comparison of the two systems I hope you pick your words wisely as they will affect a lot of people who trust your boosted opinion.

I'm waiting anxiously to experience this kit before I upgrade my S/C kit to something else...I wish SOS would do a copy of the TTS C38-91/92 kit. I know Kraftwerks is working on one but don't really know when it will be ready...and then too whether or not it will have any issues.
