His fusebox didn't burn, it melted. Man, you got mad amps running through it, so when it melts, it short-circuits, and _then catches fire.

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a car not to catch fire, stock or not.

His stuff is overpriced, takes forever you arrive, and the welds on a lot of his manifolds have been criticized. Heat issues are prevalent on the lovefab kits, i dunno i would say there is a good reason hardly anyone uses his stuff anymore.
im running a gt1 kit also with no issues. at the time the kit wasnt overpriced for what it included, it made good power and the only reason there have been fires or melting is due to the fact that people havent moved or shielded their fuse boxes or wiring.

GDM - sorry to see the car go. glad everything worked out though.

Ah, well Im glad you and Spoolin have not had any issues with the GT1 kits. I just saw SO MANY horror stories early on with those kits I told myself I wouldnt run one. Glad yours has been good for you!!

but its a car you know nothing about. you don't know shit about whether or not it was done right. I wouldn't trust a car till I looked it over very carefully and checked some things out. just hopping in a car you just bought not knowing much about and expecting it to make it no problem is foolish
