Default Small turbos....

Im kicking around the idea of going turbo but i strictly track my car. I am only thinking turbo for the huge savings over having a complete engine bult to get over 250whp n/a. I dont want a ton of power but also am not a fan of the superchargers so those are out. I guess i was wondering if anyone is running a simple internally gated turbo setup? If so I would love to see the setup and ask some questions. Also any input would be great. or if anyone has an SR'd s13 they wanna trade for my S that would work too...Lol j/k. (next track car build, no drift)

If you want to turbo a track car, add an oil cooler

An oil cooler should be on any track car, IMO. Which is why I already have one. Thanks tho.

I was thinking about a custom setup with a T28 BB that I have laying around. Any one know when the greddy kit spools or better yet how the throttle response is between 5-7k?

just get a GT3071 or a 5857 with a decent manifold and peice the rest together if you don't want to by a kit. However I recommend you sell the gt28 and buy a complete kit. Try looking at Inline, the Godspeed kit, greddy if you want internal wg. Or get a used kit in this forum and add your turbo of choice.

Has anyone ever tried a 50 trim on these cars? I drove a 50 trim EG civic and it was fun as hell.
