Sleeved block options
#11
Sounds good. I dont get my motor until Sunday, so I will decide by then but for piece of mind I'm leaning towards the flanged sleeve. Are there any other cheaper flange style options or no? Wadzii, I will stay in touch. Only thing holding me back right now is the Canadian dollar.

the problem with the cheaper sleeves is that they are made as a "replacement" sleeve not really geared towards high performance, tensile strength is lower etc, The labor to install is the same so at most you're saving around $100 on a the sleeves themselves. not really worth it IMHO

We use darton dry sleeves for most builds. We have been doing a package deal, send us your block, we'll get the block sleeved and include Wiseco pistons for $1599+shipping
If you want more than that there always the full wet closed deck option, we've used Inline pro, victory machine and a few others all with good results. it usually comes down to turn around for us on those jobs. We get the dry sleeves done in less than 2 weeks typically.
