Default Skunk Alpha Series 70mm throttle body review? Anybody tried it?

Skunk Alpha Series 70mm throttle body review? Anybody tried it? I seen it for sale and well its pretty darn reasonably cheap, but so could the quality of the throttle body as well. So whats the take on a throttle body that runs 135-150 dollars shipped?

I've never seen it, but rather than risk quality, why not just run a full blown 74?

I have found one interview on the entire internet, lol. And he reported a smooth installation with no sticking throttle plate. Are there any gains I wonder from porting the intake manifold throttle body opening to 70mm as well...

I would say so. I did it with the SOS TB although their TB is only 70mm at the face, and 64mm to the manifold, so there is only 1.5mm to port.

Not sure what the manifold side opening is on the Skunk. My guess is its not a true 70/70 as 70mm may be large enough to conflict with the coolant port on the 00-05 manifolds. I suppose a tapered spacer could work, but would have to relocate throttle linkage

on their website, they show instruction on how to template the intake manifold, with it removed of course, and literally grind the opening away so that its 70mm through and through. They claim substantial power gains by taking the second step of opening the intake manifold up.

yes I would say that's a crucial element of making the power gains. So this is for the DBW or 00-05?
