For your info if your setup is externally wastegated then it would be as simple as taking out the spring so you can break in with the turbo kit on and no boost will build. This will save you the trouble of installing the turbo kit post break-in. HOwever, seeing as it is a GReddy kit, it is most likely to be internally wastegated which means that you will build boost regardless. You will want to use the complete rev range to break your new block in properly and as such you will be build boost if you have the turbo kit on.

So your options are a little limited in that the safest thing that I would do is to 1st break in the engine NA BEFORE you install the turbo kit. This would mean that you will save yourself the hassle and money in having to first tune the car for the break in (if you had your kit on), and then tune the car again for boost, post break in. As you will still be running the stock ECU for the NA break in so you don't have to worry about the tune for the break in.

Just will be hard but not impossible to put it back on with at least unbolting the turbo form the manifold and the down pipe since the actuator is in-between the turbo and the block.

Lock open the flapper valve with a metal zip tie.

just create a boost leak somewhere.. or just don't connect intercooler piping to your throttle body.. put in a filter on your throttle body until she's ready to go. (maybe put in another filter on your intercooler end so you can make sure nothing gets in there while your car is parked)

Do not listen to adobo. If you disconnect the ic piping then your turbo will overspin and destroy the bearings.

hmmm, overspin? could you elaborate why a turbo would get destroyed if there's a massive boost leak like a disconnected intercooler piping? (not being sarcastic, i would really like to know)
