Default Should i go turbo on a brand new engine?

Im replacing my short block currently, and i also got the greddy turbo kit. I know you have to break in the engine for the first 1,000 miles. What i am asking is, if it is safe to put the greddy turbo kit and do the short block build all at once? Or should i do the short block build, wait a 1,000 miles and then install the greddy turbo kit? Let me know your opinions.

just make sure everything is tuned for the car, and you wouldnt have any issues. Just stay out of the boost

Id break that mess in first...even if you're light on the throttle, it's still 1000 miles and odds are you WILL go into moderate boost at some point.

If you want to play it safe, do the break in, then do the turbo kit, turn up boost and tune it.

If you want to play it fun, slap everything on there, get a CONSERVATIVE tune and take it easy for the first 1k -1500 miles, then retune for POWER.

5000 rpm? try 3000 rpm, I start building boost there with my fifty trim, and granted you may go with something a bit larger still you are likely to build boost before 4K and get it all around 5-6K,

Break it in. Do a lot more research on the kind of turbo setup you want, and wait 2 months to break it in.

I got the greddy turbo kit so its a very small turbo, what about getting a boost controller, would that help at all? sorry for the noob questions.
