Default Should I get aftermarket Throttle Body?

Hi, I am planning to get a supercharger kit w/ an aftercooler. Do you think I should get a Throttle Body with it?? Would it increase the hp?? If yes, which brand would you suggest?

From what I have heard, if you want to dramatically increase hp you would want to match the manifold when upgrading the TB. And of course porting and polishing your motor to match the Manifold and TB will give you noticeable gains all together.

There are many on the board that have gone with the Proflow enlarged throttle body. It is reasonably priced and adds a few hp to the FI engine. Opening up the intake manifold to match the TB will make it work better.

These guys were great to work with, I would order a new TB gasket from Honda and I matched my intake Manifold myself with a "Honing" tool I bought at Discount auto parts - It is a drill operated tool that is spring loaded with honing stones and I marked and matched the throttle body opening and polished it. Worked like a charm

what does matching the manifold with TB mean?? does it mean to machine the intake manifold so that the opening is as wide as the TB??

Alaniz Technologies offers Manifold Work where he matches the manifold & throttle body!
Might want to take a look!

When you bore your throttle body ( i opted for the 70 mm ) the diameter is slightly larger than the opening into the Intake Manifold - all you are doing is matching the openings together and smoothing the transition between the throttle body and intake manifold. Proflow will sell you one outright or do a core swap with you, I paid around $155.00 if I remember correctly.
