chris,
is the supercharger and aftercooler capable of supporting 500+ whp??
or do you think i will need to upgrade the supercharger and aftercooler??
my goal is to make 550 whp. if this kit is capable of making 500+whp, i will consider buying the kit..
BTW the kit looks great... good price too
thanks,
Nikhil

Hello,
I'm interested in your aftercooled SC kit for my 2003 Ap1.
I need to know what's included in the kit,
if there are injectors pump, and EMS
And also a price shipped to Switzerland (CH-1004)
Thanks
Fab.

Ok, thanks for informations.
So all hardware given, I just add an EMS and maybe injectors, and let's roll, right ?

Ok guys sorry for the delay.... I have logged 1600 hard miles in the past five days. Time to give you guys some feedback on the SOS high boost kit for MY2008 CR. First I would like to thank the crew at SOS (Chris/Jeff/Brian)These guys are very familiar with the S2k/NSX and it shows in the install, and the kit itself.
Fit and Finish
As you can see from the pictures on the SOS site the SOS kit is great looking kit, the kit contains top notch components that fit extremely well in the engine bay (the black is very OEM looking). The first time I saw it in person I was amazed at how non intrusive the SOS kit is...There is no oil filter relocation/no tapping of the drain pan and no drilling or cutting the s2k. Fittings/hoses/clamps/brackets/ mounts all fit perfectly and I have no leaks at all.
Performance
Made 360whp @ 8.5psi on the SOS Dynapack --mods-- T1R 70MM EM Dual + TP / Comp Clutch stage 2 + lightweight flywheel / Mugen Thermostat -- at WOT I've been seeing peaks of 9.2psi - 9.9psi (during 44F weather)mainly due to the elevation, temps and dense San Antonio air. I believe the PLX boost gauge to be accurate because I saw 8.5psi in Arizona and New Mexico.
I could not be happier with the way the car performs....pulls hard in all gears even breaking the tires loose all the way through third gear. Took it up to 145ish a couple of times and laughed about how long it took before when my car was NA.....huge difference.
As a daily driver the car has performed very well. The Hondata reflash gives the car a smooth startup/idle and smooth power delivery right up to redline. I put it to the test coming back from AZ doin multiple hot starts and had ZERO problems. The car operates at a cooler temp than it did when it was stock. At 90 - 100mph my water temps stayed between 167 - 175 degrees -- at idle I have not seen them pass 205 and the water peaked @ 215 degreees when it was dynoed.
Overall
Obviously the SOS kit is one of the most affordable FI options for the S2K but price was not the issue when I made my decision. I made my decision based on the overall quality of the components, Hondata tune, clean install (no drilling/cutting stock components), and SOS reputation of making high quality parts for the S2K/NSX. Also the power potential if I want to add kpro later. It was an easy decision and I have no regrets at all. After 8 months of research and seriously looking at all of the competing SC kits for the MY06+ IMHO the SOS kit is the best FI value out there. I will give more updates as I put more miles on the kit and do my best to answer questions.

Thank you for your review of our system. Your car is beautiful and I love the black on black look. Thanks again for the opportunity to install our system on a CR S2000!

Would the s/c pass smog aside from the visual part?.. As ghetto as it might sound, I might try to put the carb sticker from my K&N intake on the blower and hope that it might trick a few. haha I figure this kit is pretty discrete, especially if i get the black one.
Either way no smog for 6 years. But this will have to wait until after summer because my finance would kill me if i purchased this before our wedding.

Our race car (dynos posted on the site) produces 450 wheel horsepower at 16 psi on our conservative dyno. The car's supercharger system is identical to the production kit with the exception of a high capacity heat exchanger (which we plan to offer as an option in the next 4-6 weeks). The engine is a 2.2L at 10:1 CR with forged pistons, billet steel rods, and a sleeved block. Nothing fancy.
The system on paper is capable of more, however, we have not tested beyond this level.

I think I'm the only one who actually likes the whine of a supercharger. I'm starting to lean towards a stage 2 kit myself. I have a feeling I'd only use the FMU to allow me to drive to the tuner.

How much extra is this option for a higher capacity heat exchanger? How much more efficient is this setup regarding intake temps? Will this option be available before the group buy is over, if so I will wait to purchase.
