Science of Speed vs Comptech

Is the SOS Stage 2 really only $100 more on the '06+ kits? That's the impression I get from their website ($5,495 for the kit, $5,595 for Stage 2 which lists as including the supercharger and aftercooler). If that's the case, do all the '06+ cars run Stage 2?
How much more power does the Stage 2 kit put down over the base kit?

as for price, i wont name any names, but there are vendors on this site that can get the brand new comptech kit to you for just under 5k.
as well as this drop-shipper website:

^^core charge is already added in so you get the 400 back off that price when you send in your pulley. with shipping, etc, its right around $4,895.00.
and btw, id listen to hater about his recommendations.

^^^ VT kit has a blower with different trim options which is a plus if you plan on upgrading beyond the base kit. But the base kit compared to CT and SOS falls short. They use a non adjustable fuel pressure regulator which always seems to run too lean and with no way to adjust the system, it just isn’t appealing. Both SOS and CT offer a better base kit. Oh and the VT kit requires you to tap a separate line into the oil pan vs just use the existing drain hole.

Both kits are amazing. CT originally pionereed and put in much more in R&D in making the system, SoS then mirrored that design and perfected it.
The SoS mounting kit and hardware looks alot beefier to me than the CT kit, also, the SoS rubber bushings are significantly thicker. Also to mention, their tensioner is alot better IMO.
Install? Looks nearly identical to me really. Replace fuel pump, snap in the ESM, bolt on hardware near the alternator and Vtec solenoid... Maybe afew minute differences I am not listing but it is splitting hairs.
IMO I would never use the SL option because there are just too many reports of the blowers going to hell on them, and seems the MFGRs are beginning to stray away from them.
Both companies are top notch and make amazing quality products. If I were to do it again, I would most likely go SoS because they are closer to me now and the work they do inhouse is simply perfection.
Nate at CT and Chris at SoS are both very stand up guys and have always taken very good care of me no matter what my needs have been.
I can be a tough customer because I expect the best work with the best parts along with good customer service and communication.
CT and SoS are the only places I could rate a 10/10 on my scale! You cant go wrong with either and thats my honest opinion.

^^^ yeah hows that working out anyway? I'd like to see some dyno comparisons between blowers. To be frank, your listed hp vs boost numbers aren't exactly impressive. Do you think this blower is a good move over the 1200? Or even my NV1000 considering what your putting down at your boost level.
