Does the ACT PP and ACT street disc hold better than the ACT PP and OEM disc?

It’s possible. Every ACT clutch I have felt was at least 50-100% stiffer in peddle feel over stock. I know they were revised because of thrush washer failure/crank walk issues. So does that mean trq capacity was reduced as a result as well? Typically the higher the PP capacity, the more effort it takes to move the peddle and the more load it puts on the thrush washer is my general understanding. This is why you have companies like Centerforce that have a centrifugal pressure plate, so you retain stock pressure at low rpm and as rpms increase the weights in the PP diaphragm spread out the higher the rpm and increases holding capacity. Not a bad idea in theory, especially for a SC where it builds more trq as rpms climb as well. Doesn’t seem to be too popular with S2ks for some reason though, but I had one years ago on my truck which seemed to work well.

I have the SOS clutch. Holds 421whp fine, no slip. Chatters a lot in low gears & reverse. Hard to drive perfectly smooth, but fine for my DD needs.

I think it's because those centerforce clutches are on the more expensive side.

Good to hear it still holds your power with that blower

Yeah I noticed mine chatters in reverse sometimes, usually revving it higher and more slippage helps that. Never an issue with normal forward stop and go driving, feels like stock in my car. Higher capacity clutches are likely prone to some chattering.
