Science of Speed Clutch or Evans Stage 2 Clutch?
The clock is ticking down and i'm about to order a 10psi pulley, AEM V2 Computer and 750 cc I.D. injectors. I seen that Evans sells a decent looking clutch for a much cheaper price than Science of Speed, but is it rated for Novi 1000 supercharged AP1 with approximately 350-380 rwhp?

you talking about this one?

Thats a competition clutch stage 2 & yes it will probably hold the power you are looking to make.
Keep in mind clutches are rated by torque, not horsepower.
Stock torque at the motor on an s2k is 160 ft lbs I believe, so 160 x .80 = 128 , 160+128= 288 ft lbs - %20 = 231 ft lbs at the wheels (might be higher than that but Im being conservative)
Centrifugal superchargers have a gradual rise in power, so your not going to shock the clutch like you would when a turbo spools.
I have the SOS clutch now and its still holding just fine at 15psi w/ Novi 1200 blower, but for the money I spent I could have gotten something rated for more power. I also had the Comp Clutch 1620 when I was turbo, that thing will hold anything you throw at it, and there's no break in period. But 6 puck can be annoying at times, like gently pulling out of a steep parking lot with a full cup of coffee, always keep extra napkins in the glovebox

Either will be fine. Like stated above, with these kits there's still not a ton of torque so don't need a crazy clutch really. I just run the oem clutch with ACT pp and that combo holds great.
Off topic, deception what sort of power did you make at 15 psi now?

Im still getting a little knock above 8k rpms, so timing is pulled. Hopefully the revision he sends tomorrow will be the last one. I'll take the trip back out to him in the fall to get some #'s, and possibly tune on E85.

I was looking into the stage 2 myself, but it seems that if youre gonna use a disk other than oem, you're takin a chance on noise or buzzing or chattering.
That seems to be why the act pressure plate and oem disk is such a popular combo. That's probably what I'm gonna go with.
The competition pressure plate is the same from stage 1-4, they just use different discs.
As always though, grease where needed and change the bearings with oem units.

Good point to mention, I may look into the ACT pressure plate and own disc, did you guys machine the flywheel service when servicing the clutch.
Who is the most economical vendor for the parts? Act PP, oem disc and bearings?

Should definitely resurface the flywheel.
For oem clutch and bearings use majestic Honda.
I found act pp new on the forum from a member. They can be found cheap googling it. Make sure it is a newer date manufactured one. After December 09 I think it is when they revised it.

Yes, always resurface the flywheel.
Is a shop doing the clutch or not? If so, I would see what kind of deal they are willing to give you. There would probably be a better chance of warranty in case you do get a bad part or an unbearable noise.
If not, go through a reputable vendor that can verify it's the newer design. I've seen the pp for around $400. Disk is around $100. $107 at majestic.

I'm running the SOS street clutch. They list it good for 255tq to the wheels/400whp. But it’s clearly underrated, and if you’re running a light weight flywheel, you’re only going to further increase your holding capacity from less spinning mass the clutch has to clamp. If stock peddle feel is important then I would strongly recommend this clutch with any SC set up. The ACT PP is really quite stiff and with 350tq holding its overkill, better suited for higher boost turbochargers.
