SCed car need Clutch recomendation
I have a ACT 6 puck clutch combo that is blowing up my drive train. Im an ap1 with vortec SC that is boosting 9 lbs ( i live in vancouver ). I blew up 2 diffs, 1 wich is oem and one was a comptech. Ive broken 2 axles and now 1 ap1 transmision. So i dont think this clutch is working out for me.
What are you guys running and how do you like it. I am looking at getting something with a stock feel again but need to have the holding power.
Any answers will help point me in the right direction. I have a very new ap2 tranny going in soon, so id like to take er easy on that one with the new clutch combo.

Hey Sokha, how you been? I would look into the Competition clutches from Kanes2k, great vendor and decent prices. http://automotivespeed.com/index.php?cPath=23_28

i have a SPEC stage II+ clutch and it is very grippy. but for a good feel you could get a stage I and i think that will fit u just fine and still be able to hold the power with ease

Sounds like you need to change your driving technique rather than the clutch.
I am intrested in looking at keeping the ap2 disc with heavy duty presure plate. The pp should give me more grabbing power, and still have stock feel with the ability to put the power to the ground. Is anyone else running anything similar? Ben from AJ recomended the Js racing Single, that might be an option ill have to look into.
