Sc water pump issue
Upgraded to a front mount heat exchanger recently and now my water pump is making noise but doesn't seem to be pumping. It worked with the stock heat exchnger . I have a Bosch pump. I will include a video

Same thing happened to me, check for any kinked hoses to be sure, but likely just need to replace it. The brushes wear out eventually, plus there is much more demand on the pump to move all that extra water now. Replace with a bigger pump.

Yeah I wouldn’t either. There are some good choices for $100-150 price range but I don’t have any links for you off the top of my head. I'm confident you can do a search in this forum and find out, you’re not the first with this question. My buddy bought one for his large heat exchanger, and I think it was a Bosch in fact. I think he got it off ebay. SOS takes the same pump and marks up the price double.

CM30P7-1 10-24504-03 or
10-24489-04 20mm
(3/4 in) 12V 6.9 g/m @ 0.1 bar $145
That seems like the one to go with ?

Got pump working . How does the flow look? It will probably flow a little better if the car was started
