For SC 400-450 whp S is it best to rebuild engine or buy used F22?

Those links do not seem to work on my phone. Can you do a screen print anr post an image?
Moddiction, i think 2,600 for a new oem 2.2L is a DEAL! sure, youll want to buy a new water pump and other small ticket items. But the f22 is reliable power for turbo and sc applications well into the 500s. Just make sure you do new guides and valves at the very least. The f20s like to wear out guides.

Yeah for $2600 I think I'll buy new and then get the head rebuilt or buy someone's rebuilt head.
Zero miles on the block would be sweet!!

I like it. But i also like the idea of revvin a built f20 with sleeves, pistons, and rods up to 9,500 AND make power. Plus run a tiny pulley on race gas....decisions...decisions...

I want to see which direction you go my ap1 only has 70000 miles on it but I made 375hp on 13psi sos kit 93 octane too, compression and leakdown checked out perfect not sure the reason. Jeff couldn't get any more out of the timing. I think ap2 would be a good upgrade just dont like loosing the 9k redline

Oh nice. Didn't know that was included.
I would still think the oem engine would last longer than any built engine for a 450whp sc setup in this car. Hell I'm almost at 170k miles on my stock f20 now. I added boost at around 120k miles. Currently at 406whp so these oem engines are definitely made to last!
I average over 20k miles a year on my S2000 so far.

375 is still some nice power! I have an upgraded heat exchanger and also a 4" intake which I think helped some. I also had the dual 60mm HKS which might have hurt me some compared to what I have now the Greddy SE dual 70mm.
What torque did you make?
I know I will miss 9k but a big jump in torque and power will be nice. I will be adding more boost as well as a thicker heat exchanger and possibly do a boost limiter valve and upgraded impeller and possibly cam keys even though results have been pretty weak for the most part so hoping to add another 40 ft lbs and 50+ hp next tune.
