Default S2k drag project from Greece

After many many months of hard work, our project is (almost) finished. A lot of people were involved in this and I would like to thank them (just to name a few: Ya from InlinePro, Chris from Xenocron Tuning, John from Crower, Ben from BluePrint Racing). Specs:

F20C block, darton resleeved
F22c oem crank
Crower rods
CP pistons
ARP head studs
GearTech ported head
Supertech inconel valves, valve springs and Ti retainers
Toda vtec killer stage 3 cams (it's so much fun having zero vacuum at idle!)
Garrett GT4094R, 1.05AR
Custom turbo manifold and 90mm exhaust fabricated by PMC Greece
2x 38mm Tial MVS external wastegates
Tial BOV 50mm
InlinePro fuel rail, 1600cc injectors precision
Inline Pro rear diff kit (thanks Ya!)
Frana Group dog box just ordered
Twin clutch oz giken
AEM EMS tuned by GearTech
Custom intake manifold fabricated by PMC Greece & 90mm throttle body
HKS intercooler

And many many other parts. Weight is kept below 2200lb by extensive carbon fibre use (hood, doors, trunk, hard top etc).

The engine was dynoed at 25psi and pump gas. The output was 750 crank hp in Power Techniques dyno (one of the most renowned tuning magazines in Greece) and 700whp in a rototest chassis dyno (reading slightly lower than a dynojet). Will soon try race gas and 33-35psi.

very nicely done. have you had a chance to take it out to the track yet? what are you planning on running for your tire setup? what kind of fuel? and why didnt you go with the injector dynamics 2000cc injectors?

We did a few tests with Vbox but on an isolated street (not track) at 16psi. We measured a 11.8sec 1/4mile with a very conservative start (0-60ft in 2.3seconds). Q16 is most probably the fuel we are going to use. We just ordered mickey thompson ET street tires 26x11.5x16. We plan to swap to 2200cc ID injectors but we had these precisions here and we gave them a try. ID injectors are the best injectors I have ever tuned (no matter 725cc, 1000cc, 2200cc) indeed.

The radiator is from a Civic. Water temp never exceeds 170F though! (no ac radiator, very good intercooler that does not impede air flow, nice bumper with big opening, very roomy engine compartment etc). Even in hot greek weather. Do not forget that it is a drag car with little to no cooling needs. Weight reduction is far more important.

They use those half-width radiators all the time in drag racing. My brother actually has one on his built evolution. No heat soak at all even in Miami weather! He doesn't go too crazy with it though.
