How do you know it will be best of both worlds? Is there a full dyno of the finished kit somewhere I have missed?
The greddy kit has full torque at about 3500 rpm, I don't see how a belt driven supercharger can do that.
I hope I am wrong though!

MY02 with Eaton MP62 @ 6.8 PSI (90F ambient temps)
I think the Rotrex has great potential but fear it is just a centrifugal SC. As far as peak HP - the Rotrex should be capable of making more peak HP than the roots, since it can be spun so fast and still be in its efficiency window.

boost is supposed to kick in way earlier with the rotrex as compared to the centrifugal kits currently out. earlier torque....that is the biggest draw for me.

It's called roots type supercharger:
I don't believe that this rotrex unit will provide much more low down punch than other centrifugal designs.
Brilliant: you say boost is supposed to kick in way earlier than with other centrifugal kits... Have you seen a full dyno from a finished car?
All I have seen is a laminated dyno that doesn't even show the full rev range. On the dyno I have seen it takes all the way to 6000 rpm before you are making as much torque as the greddy turbo kit is making at 3500.
I will believe it when I see it.

The Rotrex Kit thay Jackson Racing developed are amazing! I currently have their kit on my Fit... It is just amazing, I can only imagine how it feels on the S. Anyone looking to supercharge in the Future I recommend this kit over anyother out right now!
