Replacing Greddy Turbo hardware?
Hey everyone,
Thought some of you S2K FI guys might be able to help me out...
Cliff's Notes at the bottom.
I'm in the process of pulling the greddy turbo kit from my civic and, to put it simply, I ruined a specialty bolt. I'm going to guess this might be a common piece of hardware on Greddy kits.
It was one of the 3 double threaded bolts (threads on both ends) which connects the exhaust housing to the DP. One end of the bolt threads into the turbo exhaust housing, the DP then goes over the bolt, and a nut is placed on the other end of the bolt to secure the DP. This needs replaced as I am honest and don't feel comfortable selling a kit to someone with missing parts.
Cliff's Notes
Broke a specialty bolt while removing a greddy kit.
Question: Is there a place to order specific hardware parts from Greddy or a vendor?
Or, is it possible to buy a complete hardware kit for various Greddy kits?
Any info would help. Thanks!
JP

If im reading you right your talking about a stud (threads on both ends) this can be found at any hardware specialty store. In Corona I go to Mcfaddendale's.
a bolt is a bolt...just make sure the grade is right. You could probably buy BETTER ones infact.
assuming this is a SAE u want grade 8 Heat treated....just ask for the best they have and mention it is going to be in 1400 degree temps. Usually those guys are pretty sharp.
